Prof. Héctor Abruña wins Electrochimica Acta Gold Medal award

Dr. Héctor Abruña is the most recent winner of the Electrochimica Acta Gold Medal, which is given out by the International Society of Electrochemistry and may be awarded every two years to the person judged to have made the most significant contribution to electrochemistry in recent years.  It is in recognition of his sustained excellent multidisciplinary studies of electrochemical phenomena using innovative combinations of electrochemical, SECM, Differntial electrochemical mass spectrometry and X-ray techniques.

The prize consists of a certificate and a gold medal.  The announcement will be made officially at the 2016 Annual ISE Meeting and The Society will present the gold medal publicly at the 2017 annual meeting.
